Introduction

The 16th Malaysian Consumer and Family Economics Seminar 2012 will be held on the 10 - 11 July 2012. This seminar focuses on improving the well-being of consumers and families. Professionals in the field of consumer economics / family, marketing, psychology, sociology, education and other fields concerned will be invited to submit papers, posters, to discuss the theory, empirical, pedagogical, and policy related to the theme of the seminar.

The improvements / differences  made in this seminar, apart from the usual,  is inviting Generation Y as panelists and participants at the seminar, launching of the MACFEA newsletters, and a MACFEA expertise profile to be distributed to participants during the seminar and to related parties as a publicity for MACFEA and to highlight MACFEA to ministries / agencies / associations related.

Submission of abstract:                                     Before or on 15th April 2012

Submission of full working paper 
(for Proceeding):                                                 Before or on 1st June 2012

Any working paper received after 1st June 2012 will not be evaluated for the best working paper category.
